Born in West-Central Arkansas in the beautiful mountains of the Ouachita National Forest, Devin Weston had a rough start in life. The trials and tribulations of a struggling family life led Devin to leave home at a young age. Fortunately Devin had two things going for himself. First there was his outstanding character. Devin is the "salt of the earth", the kind of guy that would do anything for you. Always respectful and willing to go the extra mile for his friends and family. That's why so many people like and respect Devin. Second (but no less important) is his beautiful partner Julie. Julie and her family have grown to love and support Devin by bringing him into their lives. And of course this includes their warm embrace and support of Devin in his musical career.
I first met Devin at the Highway 27 Fishing Village resort on Lake Ouachita in 2009. After getting to know him I felt there was something special about him. Then, one night in the summer of 2011, Devin asked me to listen to some songs he wrote. It was just a simple recording of three songs he made by singing them into his I-pod/phone. When I heard them I immediately liked his voice and his songs. I suggested that he send me the sound files and I would write some music around them. Well, that is exactly what we did. "Long Hard Road" and" Love You Like Mine" are the first two songs. You can hear samples of both below. You will be able to purchase them on Itunes soon.
